The Night Visual Flight Rating allows a pilot holding a Private Pilot Licence (PPL) and above, to fly at night in visible conditions. The Night VFR Rating is a valuable addition to your flying experience.

For a unique perspective on VFR flying and by simply undertaking a few additional flying lessons, you can experience the unique experience of night flying.

The night VFR is considered to be a practical qualification, giving pilots the ability to sharpen their skills and to operate an aircraft after last light. Upon completion of this qualification, trainees will have a sound understanding of and demonstrated ability to conduct basic instrument flying for flights conducted at night, with the use of ground based navigation aids.
